I really love...

Today, Finnabair announced her new ambassador team and I'm honored and so happy to say that I'm still a part of the team. The Ambassadors group is made up of some pretty amazing artists. You can check out the group HERE.

There are always some constant elements both in my artworks and in the reality around me.

I have my favorite things that always inspire me and help to escape the ordinary.

1. Vintage books. Not just for reading. :) I love using books (mostly flea market finds) as bases of my artworks. I love their smell and textures, the beautiful old paper, vintage illustrations and that poetic old-fashioned language they're written in. They are brilliant when used as art journals!

2. Another flea market must for me are differrent kinds of metal bits and trinkets. I equally love all the "new" metal embellishements like Mechanicals.

3. I simply cannot create without stamps, especially those with writing and different kinds of sentiments.

4. In my life I like to surround myself with monochrome tones, I choose black, white and greys in my apartment and wardrobe but in my art I love reaching for the energy of vivid bright colors of inks and paints.

5. Finally, one more element that is always present and that is coffee. :) Nothing works better to age paper, make beautiful stains and splashes and create a unique vintage feel.

Dzisiaj mam dla Was bardzo szybką w wykonaniu okładkę do książkowego art żurnala.

Oprócz starej książki, wystarczy trochę papieru, gesso, stempli i kawy. Papiery dodatkowo zyskują dzięki różnym wykrojnikom. Jednym z nich jest wykrojnik confetti od Primy. Jak dla mnie, efekt z jego użyciem, jest rewelacyjny.

Finnabair Ambassadors' Product Picks

Dzisiaj, mam okazję pokazać Wam to, co najbardziej mnie zauroczyło w tegorocznych nowościach od Finnabair. To oczywiście WOSKI Art Alchemy :) Idealnie sprawdzają się zarówno na ciemnych jak i jasnych tłach, nadając niesamowity klimat każdej pracy. Lekko się rozprowadzają, są delikatne, a do tego jeszcze cudownie pachną. Dzięki swojej konsystencji podkreślają każdy najdrobniejszy szczegół, nie zapychając nawet tych najmniejszych wgłębień. Woski, najbardziej lubię nakładać opuszkiem palca. Czasami trafiają się jednak trudno dostępne miejsca, wtedy sięgam po pędzelek ze sztywniejszym włosiem.

Zdecydowanie, moim numerem jeden wśród wosków jest... Metallique Wax White Gold :)

The products that totally stole my heart are the Art Alchemy WAXES. They work perfectly on both light and dark surfaces making every kind of project look spectacular highlighting chosen details. They are really subtle and very easy to apply + they smell delicious... :) I usually like to apply the Waxes with my fingertips - this allows me a better control of where they go; I use a little paintbrush for the spots that are harder to rich.

My personal number one is Metallique Wax White Gold! :)

Sama słodycz, choć u mnie tradycyjnie z odrobiną gorzkiej kawy. I tak... po raz kolejny skusiłam się na kwiatki, większość w kawałkach, ale jednak.

Witajcie! Dzisiaj chciałabym pokazać Wam moją vintagową okładkę. Wykorzystałam pękającą farbkę od Finnabair i puder Artisan Powder – French Sage od Franka Garcia. Do zdjęcia dołożyłam obwódkę wokół głowy z drutu i perełek, a do tła kilka metalowych dodatków. Mam nadzieję, że spodoba się Wam. Na blogu Primy znajdziecie więcej inspiracji.
