Witajcie Moi Drodzy,

dzisiejszy post związany jest z kolejną publikacją na blogu Art Daily Cafe. Tematem przewodnim jest portret w kolorystyce czarno-białej. Miałam ambitny plan, aby spróbować stworzyć odręczny portret, ale stchórzyłam... Pomyślałam, że spróbuję z transferem. Niestety nie wyszło, tak jakbym chciała. Idąc za cytatem przewodnim S. Dali "Błędy są prawie zawsze rzeczą świętą. Nigdy nie próbuj ich naprawiać" zdecydowałam wykorzystać nieudany transfer, jako tło. Reszta to zabawa z mediami i czarną kredką. Mam nadzieję, że Wam się spodoba. 

I wanted to try to draw a portrait, but my courage left me. Thus, I opted for a transfer. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out. According to S.Dali ”Mistakes are almost always of a sacred nature. Never try to correct them”, so I made up my mind to use the transfer as a background. The rest is just a simple play with media and a black pastel crayon.

Art Daily No. 7 & Wanderlust 2020

The inner child is that part of me who wants to play, who wants to dance and rock out to the music, who wants to lie in the sun and just be. I try to remember that fun does not stop at adulthood and there is no reason I should disconnect from my inner child. Unfortunately my life for last months leaves so little time for meandering and exploring. But I know that it will be back because there is something really exhilarating about releasing my inner child. My imagination comes alive, the world looks and smells different, and I just feel better.

Kolaż stał się częścią sztuki współczesnej na początku XX wieku. Termin ten po raz pierwszy użył Georges Braque, a także sam Pablo Picasso. Samo słowo pochodzi z francuskiego coller i oznacza sklejać. 

Collage became a part of Modern art in the early 20th century. Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque were credited with naming this type of art. The word collage comes from the French word coller, which means to glue. 

Nie mam ulubionych artystów, ale lubię ich poznawać, gdy przypadnie mi do gustu jakieś ich dzieło. Zdecydowanie łatwiej mi jest wtedy zrozumieć co mogło nimi kierować, gdy tworzyli.

I do not have any artists I'd put as personal favorites but I enjoyed learning about the artists after I viewed their works and in a way it helped me better understand what contemplated them to make  such fantastic creations.

Sztuka kolażu jest wyjątkowa, ponieważ wykorzystujesz już istniejące materiały i układasz je na nowo. Kolaż polega na zabawie z materiałami, kolorami i obrazami, przyklejaniu ich i sprawdzaniu co z tego wyjedzie. Najlepsze w tym wszystkim jest to, że mam możliwości popełnienia błędu. Jeśli nie podoba Ci się to, co powstało, zawsze można to przekleić, odkleić lub zamalować. 

Collage art is unique because you take already existing materials and arrange them into a new art form. Collage is all about playing around with materials and colors and images, gluing them down and seeing what happens next. The best part is, there is no way to make a mistake. If you do not like what you glued down, simply glue over it, peel it off or even paint over it.
