Hi all! 

Finn's new product releases are like candy for mixed-media lovers! I created a mixed-media tag using an amazing Metallique acrylic paint - Ice Queen. I also used beautiful Mechanicals from Finnabair. I glued everything with Heavy Body Gel and then I covered it with Black Gesso. After that I used a magical acrylic paint. I hope you like it!

Hello, my friends! It's hard to believe that December has already arrived, bringing with it the wonder and magic of the season. Many of us are in the midst of our preparations for this festive time of the year, with me creating vintage cards. I layered my favorite Prima papers from the Vintage Emporium line and Sweet Peppermint collection. I also used wonderful metal stars and Ephemera from Finnabair. I really love this vintage look. And you?

winter is coming

Winter is coming.

To co najbardziej uwielbiam w zimie, to jej surowość i blask. I to właśnie starałam się odtworzyć w moim nowym mixed mediowym projekcie. Po dłuższej walce, udało mi się doprowadzić kawałek mojego stołu do porządku, tak że mogłam zacząć sklejać ze sobą różne kawałki. Jak widać, w chwili obecnej, mam obsesję na punkcie tekstury z wykorzystaniem Art Stone i różnych metalowych dodatków. Uważam, że zawsze można je wszędzie wykorzystać i po prostu dobrze wyglądają. 

What I love the most about this season is its severity and its glow. This is the vibe I wanted to recreate in my new mixed media project. After a longer moment of struggle I was able to clean a small part of the table and actually glue something together. As you can see - I'm absolutely obsessed with Art Stone textures and metal embellishment at the moment. I'm sure I can fit them simply anywhere and I'm sure they will look just great.

No i moja kolejna obsesja - warstwy. Tym razem wykorzystałam sporo kawałków gałązek i liści z jednego z moich ulubionych zestawów od Sizzix - Mini Holiday Greens. Mam nadzieję, że Wam się spodoba. 

Layers are my other obsession. This time, I used a lot of paper twigs and leaves, from one of my favorite Sizzix die - Mini Holiday Greens. I hope you like it.

 
   
  
      
  

I really love...

Today, Finnabair announced her new ambassador team and I'm honored and so happy to say that I'm still a part of the team. The Ambassadors group is made up of some pretty amazing artists. You can check out the group HERE. 

There are always some constant elements both in my artworks and in the reality around me.

I have my favorite things that always inspire me and help to escape the ordinary.

1. Vintage books. Not just for reading. :) I love using books (mostly flea market finds) as bases of my artworks. I love their smell and textures, the beautiful old paper, vintage illustrations and that poetic old-fashioned language they're written in. They are brilliant when used as art journals!

2. Another flea market must for me are differrent kinds of metal bits and trinkets. I equally love all the "new" metal embellishements like Mechanicals.

3. I simply cannot create without stamps, especially those with writing and different kinds of sentiments.

4. In my life I like to surround myself with monochrome tones, I choose black, white and greys in my apartment and wardrobe but in my art I love reaching for the energy of vivid bright colors of inks and paints.

5. Finally, one more element that is always present and that is coffee. :) Nothing works better to age paper, make beautiful stains and splashes and create a unique vintage feel.

there is beauty in simplicity

Jakiś czas temu zachwycałam się nowym żurnalem od Primy. Spodobał mi się nie tylko kolor, ale i format. Dzisiaj jeden z pierwszych wpisów, ze zdjęciem babci Agnieszki Grygierek-Adamkiewicz zdobytym podczas wyjazdu na wyjątkowe warsztaty u Finnabair. Wykorzystałam ścinki papierów z kolekcji Amber Moon, niezastąpioną serwetkę od Primy i oczywiście kawę zmiksowaną z farbkami akwarelowymi.

Hej! Tym razem zrobiłam dwie vintage karteczki używając moich ulubionych produktów: naklejek z tekstem od Tima Holtza, zdjęć z zestawu Paper Dolls również od Tima, dodałam też kawałki papieru ze starych książek i z nowej kolekcji Primy Amber Moon. Po raz pierwszy, wykorzystałam mój nowy nabytek, cudowne stemple liści od Carabelle.  Są rewelacyjne! Uwielbiam je! Dzięki nim oraz wyciętym elementom z arkusza Boudoir stworzyłam wielowarstwową kompozycję. Mam nadzieję, że Wam się spodoba.

Hello! I have created the sweet little vintage cards using a couple of my favourite things: the sentiment form Tim Holtz' Small Talk, the images of the little boys from Tim Holtz' Paper Dolls, I also added pieces of paper from my old books and from newest Prima collection Amber Moon. First time I used wonderful stamps from Carabelle. They're amazing! I really love them! I used these stamps with elements from Boudoir paper to create multilayered composition. I hope you like it.

Hej! Starając się trzymać postanowienia, że częściej będę próbować robić kartki, dzisiaj chciałabym pokazać Wam kolejną. Proste tło, stworzyłam za pomocą kawałków kartki z książki, taśmy papierowej od Tima Holtza oraz kilku tekturek od the Mini Art. W centralnym zaś punkcie znalazła się Pani z zestawu Ephemera od Finnabair. Nie potrafiłam sobie odpuścić i dodałam nieco kolorów ode mnie. Mam nadzieję, że spodoba się nie tylko obdarowanej osobie, ale i Wam. Pozdrawiam ciepło!
